The original FiRE + iCE Restaurant opened in Cambridge's Harvard Square in 1997 and quickly became a favorite with students, office workers, couples and families. FiRE + iCE expanded by opening locations in Providence, Rhode Island in 1999, Boston's Back Bay in 2000 and in the Marriott Timber Lodge in South Lake Tahoe, California in 2003.
